To terminate your hosting package, but keep your registered domain with Hetzner via konsoleH:

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Customer number or email address and Management password
  3. Select or search for a domain name in the ‘Hosting Services’ tab
  4. Select ‘Manage Services’
  5. Select ‘Terminate Service’ and click ‘Next’
  6. Select ‘Terminate hosting but keep domain’ from the dropdown box
  7. Your hosting package with Hetzner will be downgraded to a ‘Domain Registration’ as you have indicated that you would like to keep the domain name
  8. A confirmation screen verifies that your hosting package has been scheduled to be downgraded to a ‘Domain Registration’ within 30 days

Important:

  • Ensure that you have a copy of your website content and email as it will be deleted from our servers 30 days after Hetzner has received your termination request
  • Hetzner remains committed to providing superior service levels. Providing Hetzner with your reason(s) for terminating a package will assist us in improving our service. We would greatly appreciate your feedback.
