These options are available to all TruServ™ customers who require a backup solution:

  • The konsoleH FTP Backup tool. This tool allows Linux and Windows based Truserv™ customers to backup content of up to 50GB, to a secure FTP server. The purpose of this service is to allow our TruServ™ customers to backup important data from their TruServ™ servers.
  • A second server can be used for backup purposes, positioned locally or at a different hosting location. If you’d like to explore this option, please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for pricing.

TruServ™ servers are managed by the customer and, as such, the backup process remains the customer’s responsibility. Hetzner only supports the network and hardware, performing swap-outs and providing assistance where necessary.

Note:

  • You should not rely on Hetzner’s backup servers as a primary backup source, as these servers can fail. It is strongly recommended that you keep a separate backup of your files and databases remotely e.g. on your PC’s hard drive or on a portable hard drive.
