It is highly advisable that you retain a copy of the most recent updates made to your website. If you have outsourced your website design or site administration, make sure that your web developer supplies you with a copy of the most recent changes that have been made. This must include database content, if a database was used.

The easiest way to make a backup of your database, would be to create a dump file. If your database is updated regularly by user activity on your website, we advise you to routinely create database dumps, either via konsoleH or by setting up an automated process.

Note: Hetzner does not guarantee backups.
