How do I set-up an Auto Responder?

Set-up an Auto Responder on a mailbox via Webmail:
- Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
- Login with your full email address (eg. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) and email password. (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Select ‘MailAdmin’
- Select ‘Autoreply’ and edit as needed
- Click on ‘Add’
- Your Auto Responder is now active. To test it, send an email to the address and see if you receive the auto response.
Remove the Auto Responder for a mailbox via Webmail:
- Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
- Login with your full email address (eg. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) and email password. (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Select ‘MailAdmin’
- Select ‘Autoreply’
- From the ‘Autoreply’ drop down select ‘Off’
- Click on ‘Add’
- You will notice when you go back to ‘Menu’ that Autoreply will no longer display ‘On’
Set-up an Auto Responder on a mailbox via konsoleH:
- Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
- Login with your Client number and Management password
- Select or search for a domain name in the ‘Hosting Service’ tab
- Select ‘Mail’ from the left-hand menu
- Select ‘Manage Accounts’
- The main window will display all the existing active email accounts for your domain
- Select ‘Autoreply’ next to the mailbox for which you wish to set-up the auto response
- Complete information requested
- Select ‘On’ from the Autoreply drop down
- Click on ‘Add’
- Your auto responder is now active. To test it, send an email to the address and see if you receive the auto response.
To remove the Auto Responder for a mailbox via konsoleH:
- Follows steps 1-8 above
- From the ‘Autoreply’ drop down select ‘Off’
- Click on ‘Add’
- You will notice when you go back to ‘Menu’ that Autoreply will no longer display ‘On’
