1. Remove unwanted emails and log files which are no longer needed.
Review your email and delete all older or unwanted emails stored in folders on the server. Unless needed, you can also consider deleting the contents of your sent items email folder. To access your email folders on the server, use the webmail interface.
Other causes of unnecessary disk usage could be web log files and email ‘trash’ and ‘spambucket’ folders. The konsoleH Disk Cleanup Tool allows you to specify rules for clearing out emails in the trash and spam folders and to manage your web log retention thresholds for your domain. The cleanup rules can be managed at Domain, Server or Client Level.
2. Upgrade to a higher Web Hosting package.
Upgrading to a higher package will provide you with a bigger disk space quota. The various packages and their quotas are available on the Hetzner product information pages. You can upgrade your package via the konsoleH control panel.
3. Hetzner calculates most cost-effective option
Even if you don’t upgrade to a higher Web Hosting package, Hetzner’s automated system will calculate the most cost effective option for you.
