Hetzner facilitates the registration of the following domain extensions via third party registrars: .co.za, .biz, .cc, .co, .com, .co.uk, .de, .eu, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .org.za and .tv. Pricing for these domain extensions is available on our website.

To register a domain extension not provided by Hetzner, you would need to register at the registry that offers the registration of that extension.

If there is a domain extension you would like Hetzner to offer, please complete our Suggestion Box form.

Note: You will need to order your hosting package before you attempt registration at an external registrar as DNS information is required at the time of domain creation.

Order a Web Hosting package via konsoleH

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Customer number and Management password
  3. Select ‘NEW ORDER’ (top right)
  4. Select ‘Web hosting’, your preferred package and hosting location
  5. Click ‘Next’
  6. Select ‘Register a new domain name’ and ‘I will register this domain without Hetzner’s assistance’ and enter the name i.e. your-domain, without the preceding www and then select ‘...other’ from the drop down list and enter your required domain extension
  7. The DNS information provided on the Account Ready message should then be used for the registration of the domain
