formmail.pl is a generic HTML form to email gateway, which will accept the results of any feedback form and send them to the specified recipient via email. This script has many formatting and operational options, most of which can be specified through the feedback form, meaning you don’t need any programming knowledge or multiple scripts for multiple forms. This also makes formmail.pl the perfect system-wide solution for allowing form-based user feedback capabilities without the risks of allowing CGI access.
Any form fields included in the call to formmail.pl will be included in the email that is sent to the specified recipient. Formmail.pl has many optional hidden fields, but only the recipient field, which determines where the email is sent, is required.
It is possible to setup formmail.pl on all Web Hosting accounts.
An alternative to formmail.pl is cgiemail, which is a more flexible method to achieve the same result.
