phpMyAdmin is an open source graphical database administration tool for MySQL. It is a great way to manage your database(s) without the need to learn the SQL language.

This graphical interface allows you to add, edit, and create data in a database with ease. phpMyAdmin has been preconfigured for all MySQL databases hosted with Hetzner.

Access phpMyAdmin via konsoleH:

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Client number and Management password
  3. Select or search for a domain name in the ‘Hosting Service’ tab
  4. Select ‘Manage Services’
  5. Select ‘Manage MySQL’
  6. Select a database
  7. Click ‘phpMyAdmin’
  8. Select your database name from the top left under the ‘Databases’ tab
