Sendmail is a mail transfer agent (MTA) that can be called from PHP or Perl scripts in order to facilitate the sending of mail. An alias from EXIM called Sendmail provides similar functionality with the Basic account and higher.

When using the Sendmail alias please ensure that you are familiar with our Acceptable use policies regarding bulk mailing, from the following two perspectives:
