As of the 9th of February 2009 PostgreSQL is no longer one of our supported services.

The minimal demand for PostgreSQL does not justify the comparative resources required to maintain ongoing server and customer support. Years after its initial availability only a few PostgreSQL databases were active on our servers.

Market research indicates MySQL as the most popular database offering; one that we will continue to support and enhance via our konsoleH control panel. Hetzner now offers MySQL 5 for all new hosting services.
