Websites using a secure certificate issued by Hetzner, have all the advantages of secure encryption, but as Hetzner is not a Certification Authority, the SSL encryption is not accepted by web browser software by default. All data will be encrypted, but visitors will see the following error message:
Although this is not a security risk in any way, some customers might be concerned. For this reason, we suggest that you purchase your own personal secure certificate.
