If you have secure pages that require encryption, you will need to ensure that images/files of the page are referenced from a secure directory (https).

Once logged into your account, you will be able to view the root (home) directory. The encrypted web files for your account should NOT be placed into the ‘public_html’ subdirectory of your account. For access to your pages from the secure layer, you will need to upload your pages to the ‘public_ssl’ directory.

Upload content to ‘public_ssl” directory using Internet Explorer 6:

    1. Launch Internet Explorer
    2. In address bar, enter: ftp://your-domain.com/public_ssl
    3. Press the Enter key / Click ‘Go’
    4. Enter your FTP username and password when prompted
    5. When the connection is complete (this may take a while), an FTP dialog box will appear which identifies the files and folders at the secure layer (https)

When using other FTP software, set the default FTP directory to public_ssl .
