Hetzner recommends that customers perform the following monitoring checks:
If you have the LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1064ET PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 08) RAID card installed, we recommend you use mpt-status to perform monitoring checks:
If you have the LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID (rev 01) RAID card installed, we recommend you make use of a Nagios plugin together with the MegaCLI (Command Line Interface) which is available from LSI, to perform monitoring checks.
The download link to the MegaRC CLI program required for your operating system can be found in the lower Support and Downloads tab under the heading ‘Miscellaneous’.
If you have the LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 1078 (rev04) RAID card installed, we recommend you make use megasasctl program to perform monitoring checks. This program requires the libc6 package.
