The eRIC (Permanent Remote Control Card) remote control is a console based, KVM-over-IP PCI card that provides permanent remote, BIOS-level access and control to your TruServ™ server. Accessible from any web browser, the remote control provides anytime, anywhere KVM access with maximum security, stability and speed. Perfect if you have multiple administrators located around the country or world.
It includes dual-channel technology, enabling you to exchange and install files and other media between your server and the console based remote over a KVM port.
The remote control requires no client software so it can be accessed from any popular Web browser and most major operating systems.
The eRIC remote control is available for purchase through konsoleH by following these easy steps:
- Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
- Login with your Client number and Management password
- Search for your the applicable TruServ server
- Click the ‘Options’ icon [+] to the right of your server
- Select the radio button ‘Remote Control’ and click ‘Next’
- Follow the on screen prompts to complete your order

Please note that the eRIC device remains the property of Hetzner. This means that Hetzner has root access and continues to monitor the device on a 24 hour basis. Therefore, please make sure you log out of your eRIC session properly to avoid any unintentional changes to your settings.
