Hetzner’s TruServ™ Dedicated servers provide customers with the freedom and flexibility to create any type of server environment and manage it themselves. Each server comes with a free configurable firewall. Customers enjoy full Root/Administrator access to their server, enabling 24x7x365 control from anywhere. This solution is ideal for those with server management experience.

Hetzner will provide a suitable hardware platform together with an operating system of your choice. The pre-installed operating systems available are:

  • Windows 2003 Standard
  • Windows 2003 Web Enhanced
  • Windows Web Server 2008 R2
  • Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition
  • Centos 5.4, 5.5
  • Fedora 13,14
  • Ubuntu 10.4 LTS
  • Open Suse 11.3
  • Debian Lenny

Software licensing fees, where applicable, are for your own account. Hetzner manages the hardware and the network while you manage the operating system, software and applications.
