KonsoleH’s Remote Reboot service is a convenient automated tool that enables you to restart your self-managed TruServ Dedicated server instantly and on demand. Remote Reboot comes with two options:

Soft Reboot: This is the same as pressing ‘ctrl’, ‘alt’ & ‘delete’ on your keyboard.
Hard Reboot: This is the same as pressing the reset button on your machine.

Note:

  • Customers hosted in the CPT3 Data Centre will need to make use of the RMM to achieve a remote reboot
  • Customers using Truserv Commerce servers would need to use the DRAC

How to use the Web Resetter Tool via your control panel, konsoleH:

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Client number and Management password
  3. Select or search for your Truserv in the ‘Hosting Service’ tab
  4. Select ‘Manage Services’ from the left-hand menu
  5. Select ‘Remote Reboot’
  6. Simply select either soft or hard reboot

Note: If you require remote access to your server you can request a LARA be connected.
