You will need to follow these steps, should you wish to remove your Volume Plan from your hosting portfolio as well as cancel the individual Web Hosting packages:

Step 1: Removing your Volume Plan

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Customer number or email address and Management password
  3. Search for the Volume Plan that you’d like to cancel
  4. Click on ‘Account Management’ and select ‘Terminate Volume Plan’. Follow the screen prompts.

Removing your Volume Plan from your hosting portfolio will simply dissolve the Volume Plan, not the individual hosting packages.

Note that the removal of your Volume Plan is immediate, no waiting period is required.

Step 2: Terminating the individual Web Hosting packages

  1. Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
  2. Login with your Customer number or email address and Management password
  3. Search for the domain that you would like to cancel
  4. Click on ‘Manage Services’ and select the ‘Terminate Package’ option. Follow the screen prompts.

This process will terminate your Web Hosting package with Hetzner and will provide you with the option to either keep your domain registered with Hetzner, to transfer your domain away from Hetzner or to also cancel your domain, which means that it will no longer remain under your ownership.

With this step you need to ensure that you have a copy of your website content and email as it will be deleted from our servers 30 days after Hetzner has received your termination request.
