Disk over-usage charges will apply. Hetzner will automatically calculate the most cost effective option. The Volume Plan makes it possible for disk over usage to be calculated in 50GB blocks.
For example:
A Volume Plan has a quota of 50GB and has used 102GB of disk space:
The first scenario would be to pay for 52GB of additional disk space at R5 per 10MB block, which will cost R26 624.
The second scenario would be to determine the cost per 50GB block ( 1 x 50GB at R200) and add the 2GB at R5 per 10MB block. The total being R1224.
The third scenario is to look at the 52GB as 2 disk blocks ( 2 x 50GB at R200) i.e. 50/50 + 2/50. As this would be the cheapest option you would only be billed R400.
