iPad Troubleshooting Guide

Your customised mail settings are as follows:

Email Address: you@your-domain.com

Incoming (POP) server: pop.your-domain.com

Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.your-domain.com

Account / User Name: you@your-domain.com

SMTP Authentication: On (same Username as POP)

SMTP Port: 587

Note: If SMTP Authentication is not catered for by your email program, you must rather use your ISP's SMTP server.

Troubleshooting account setup for iPad

  • Select settings

    1. Start by selecting the settings icon from your home screen.

  • Select Mail

    2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the settings menu:

    3. Select your account from the listed accounts:

  • Select your acount

    4. Select your account from the menu:

  • Confirm Account Settings

    5. Ensure that your incoming server details are specified correctly:

    6. Then select "SMTP" to configure your outgoing server.

  • Select Your Primary Server

    7.Select your SMTP server under “Primary Server

  • Check existing account settings

    8. Ensure that your outgoing server details are specified correctly:

  • Select Done

    9. Once you have confirmed all your settings are correct you can select “Done”.
