How can I do a domain names search?

Hetzner offers a free domain names search tool, be sure to check if your domain name is available before trying to register it.

Can I get free domain names?

Hetzner supports the registration of .org.za domain name that are free to non-profit organisations. See our Help Centre article to determine if you qualify for a domain name

What are the main domain extensions?

Hetzner currently supports all the main top level domain names, as well as the certain country specific ones.

Supported domains include:

  • .com
  • .co.za
  • .net
  • .org
  • .org.za
  • .info
  • .biz
  • .co.uk
  • .de
  • .eu

Am I eligible for an .org.za domain?

Only non-commercial entities are able to register an .org.za domain. Registration is free for entities that are able to provide Section 21 Certification or SARS documentation to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Should you be unable to provide the above documentation, you will be charged a once-off administration fee of R228.
