Hetzner South Africa strives to push forward the standard of excellence in South African web hosting. Recognised as a business leader in our industry, we have been accredited with a number of awards. But of course our efforts would go unnoticed if it wasn’t for the continued support of our customers. To all of you we say a huge “Thank you”.

1. Best Employers South Africa (2008/09, 2009/10)

Hetzner has been recognised as a Best Employer for 2008/09 by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF), an independent international organization that initiates, co-ordinates and delivers international business research projects worldwide, with offices in seven countries

The Award is presented to companies who have been successful in linking HR’s strategic priorities with the priorities and goals of the business as a whole. The accreditation is based on the HR Benchmark™ research process, a scientific and objective approach to assessing employer performance.

2. Top Performing Companies incorporating the Top 300 (2008/09, 2007, 2006 & 2005)

Hetzner has been acknowledged as a Top Performing Company for the third consecutive year by Top Companies Publishing (PTY) Ltd in association with the Department of Trade and Industry. Hetzner is one of 300 companies that were nominated for sustained excellent in corporate performance.

The companies selected for this award are measured against strict entry criteria, formulated in consultation with respected and credible business organisations and academic institutions, ensuring that nominated organisations are the top performers in terms of growth, overall quality of performance, contribution to BEE and transformation as well as contribution to job creation.

3. Top ICTe Companies Award for 2005/06 & 2003/04

Hetzner was named a Top 50 ICTe (Information, Communication, Technologies and Electronic sectors) company for the period 2005/6 by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF), an independent international organization that initiates, co-ordinates and delivers international business research projects worldwide, with offices in seven countries.

This prestigious award is offered to companies who have demonstrated success in their respective markets in South Africa.

Top ICTe Companies in South Africa is endorsed by key South African federations: Cape Information Technology Initiative (CITI), Computing Technology Industry Association (Comptia), Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA), Electronics Industries Federation and the Institute of People Management (IPM).

Hetzner has been informed that the Top ICTe Companies Award was discontinued in 2007.

4. Technology Top 100 Minister’s Award Finalist for 2005

Hetzner was singled out as one of six finalists to receive the Minister’s Award for Overall Technology Excellence (small enterprise), at the National Technology Top 100 Awards Banquet on 23 November 2005.

Up against fierce competition, Hetzner was acknowledged for its innovative use of technology to develop and enhance existing business practices through its proprietary control panel, konsoleH™.

This prestigious Awards Programme is hosted by the Department of Science and Technology and enjoys the highest level of government recognition.
