FTP Backup and Remote Control added to Hetzner’s TruServ™ product range
We are continuously working on ensuring that our product offering incorporates all the features and functions that are integral to our customer’s hosting environment. Below are two new services that we’ve recently added to our TruServ™ product range:
1. FTP Backup
By activating this service, Hetzner’s TruServ™ customers can rest assured that their server’s critical data is protected. Your data will be stored on a separate centralised backup server which is protected with Hardware RAID 5, offering complete security.
To activate the FTP Backup service, simply access your konsoleH control panel at Client Level:
- Hosting Services
- Manage Services
- FTP Backup
This service is offered at no additional charge with 50 GB of disk space made available per server.
2. Remote Control
Hetzner’s ‘Remote Control’ service provides remote access to your TruServ™ Dedicated server instantly, without relying on the availability of a Hetzner technician.
With Remote Control, TruServ™ customers can access their server from anywhere in the world using a standard Web browser and IP Address (the IP Address will be provided with activation of this service).
TruServ™ customers can opt for the Remote Control option as a paid-for extra at R250 per month. The device comes in the form of a PCI card which is inserted into the server.
