Hetzner CPT2 uplink upgraded to 1Gbit
Our Cape Town data center 2 network link to MTN Business has been upgraded to 1Gbit.
The improvements ensure continued capacity into the foreseeable future and complement the anticipated increase in South Africa’s general infrastructure capacity over the medium term. Ensuring that our connection into the MTN Business backbone is not a network bottleneck.
The upgrade is part of a larger project on our core network in Johannesburg and Cape Town that well exceeds R2M, excluding research and development. This upgrade will see all other network links to MTN upgraded over the next few months.
