Hetzner Data Centres benefit from 1GBit uplink
Hetzner’s project to expand its network capacity in order to accommodate additional growth, while making its network more robust, is now complete: The final uplink upgrade to 1GBit between CPT1 Data Centre and the MTN Business backbone was completed in June. This increase in network capacity means that Hetzner is well equipped to handle the imminent changes expected in SA’s bandwidth and infrastructure capacity.
MTN Business, a Tier-1 ISP, provides us with direct access to the national core network and is well positioned to accommodate bandwidth increases and fluctuations.
