No traffic over-usage charges for Managed Dedicated servers hosted in Germany
Hetzner customers with Managed Dedicated servers hosted in Germany will no longer be charged for traffic over usage. This is how it works:
The traffic quota has been doubled from 1,000 GB to 2,000 GB. On exceeding the 2000 GB quota, the connection capacity will be reduced to 10Mbit/sec. In the unlikely event of reaching this limit on a single server, the connection capacity can be permanently fixed to 100 Mbit/sec, at a rate of only R300 per TB of traffic.
Our substantial economies of scale in what is already a highly cost-effective Internet market in Germany enables us to pass this benefit onto our customers.
