What is Web Hosting?
Web hosting is the business of providing the storage, connectivity, and services necessary to serve files for a website.
Web hosting offers the ability to host your website on a managed server at a low monthly cost. When you purchase a web hosting package, you are sharing a server with many other web sites.
How to choose the best hosting package?
Each web hosting package has a certain amount of space and data transfer, which will affect how many files you can upload to your website as well as how many people can look at or download those files each month.
Our recommendation for those starting out with their first website is to try our Basic package. It has all the features of the Master package (such as databases); the only difference is that the data transfer, email and storage quotas are less than the Master.
This way you can try out all the features and figure out which ones you need and don't need, and start to develop your website straight away, giving you an idea of how much data transfer and storage space you'll need in the end.
You can then upgrade or downgrade accordingly, at any time.
Do you support cPanel Hosting?
cPanel is not available on our web hosting packages, however you do have access to our award-winning control panel konsoleH™. Should you wish to make use of the cPanel control panel, we would advise you to acquire a TruServ™ Dedicated server with Hetzner.
Do you support Linux hosting?
All our web hosting packages run on Debian Linux. Its reliability and cost has made it a popular choice as the basis for computer networks and is commonly used as the operating basis for Internet servers.
