As another year draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and business during the past year. We appreciate the tremendous trust you place in Hetzner for the efficient running of your online business and interests, and want to reassure you that we will continue to work at ways to retain that trust.

2008 at Hetzner has been a year marked with significant change and growth, none of which would have been possible without our valued customers. Our goals for this year have focussed on providing you with added value, such as our SiteBuilder tool, as well as more efficient and effective use of our servers. The following are some of the milestones we achieved this year:

Increased registered domains - We hit the 100 000 hosted domains mark during this year and are currently hosting over 120 000 domains on our servers.

SiteBuilder - We developed and launched a website publishing tool that allows you to create and manage your personal or business website.

Managed hardware upgrade - Our managed dedicated server product range was extended with the addition of the Managed Plus and Managed Commerce options. These options add more advanced server features and resources for higher-end hosting requirements.

Debian migration - Hetzner migrated its managed server platform from Red Hat Linux to Debian Linux, which allows for greater disk protection, easier software rollouts and increased security and efficiency.

As this year draws to a close we wish you a relaxing and peaceful festive season with family and friends.
